I am ashamed to be a Republican. I really am. Watching this garbage that the Republicans throw out at the media and the American public is a disgrace.

The Supreme Court has spoken. Why can't the Republicans start to concentrate on the real issues. They can't, because they have no real answers for anything. They flip-flop on everything and all they are concerned with is getting their power back. This Mitt Romney is a absolute joke. He really is. The new health care law was modeled after his Massachusetts law. Yet he sits there knocking down the new Health Care Law on every single interview. Is this all the loser has to talk about? Mitt Romney has no new ideas and his Republican cronies have nothing new either. They are the ones that destroyed this country. They allowed all their rich friends to destroy Wall Street and the economy, and then they want to be back in power so they can continue to destroy whats left of the American Dream.

All the Republicans talk about is the new Health Care Law. They swear they will repeal it when they get into office again. Let me tell you one thing. First of all Mitt Romney will not win this election. It is his kind of thinking that got us all into this mess and Americans are not stupid. Mitt Romney is just a rich guy looking out for the rich and more important, he is looking out for his own interest. He could care less of the people who are un-employed. He has the money and now he wants absolute power. This must be stopped and will be stopped.

THE REPUBLICAN LOG CABIN GROUP IS BAD FOR GAY RIGHTS

I also can not believe these Log Cabin Republicans, the gay arm of the Republicans, have the balls to support these anti gay Republicans. Mitt Romney is anti-gay marriage and could care less about Gay Americans having the same rights as him. These Log Cabin flames, act like they speak for the gay community, but they do not. All they are interested in is the same thing as their straight counterparts. Power and privilege. Makes me wonder what glory holes they are all working!

MARY CHENEY IS HURTING GAY CAUSES

Michelangelo Signorile had a very interesting piece in his column in The Huffington Post. It's about the privileged Mary Cheney who gives money to anti gay candidates, but she gets to enjoy the rights that everyone else has fought for. What it looks like is that she only wants rights for her gayness and not for anyone else.

I firmly believe Barack Obama could be one of the best Presidents in history if we can vote out this Republican Congress. I think Obama has the right ideas, but he can not get anyone in the Republican controlled Congress to vote on anything, even if it's a good bill. They just have one thing in mind, they all have said it from the start, and that is to win the election and get Obama out. They said this from day one of the Obama presidency. They never cared for the American people and they still do not. They let all these banks and crooks ( Their Friends) ruin this country and now they expect us to vote them back in to finish the job. It is so sick that all we have now are politicians who only care about the money from rich people to win elections.

If we do not vote these Republicans out of office next election, I think we will only have two classes of people left. The Rich and The Poor. This will be the end of The American Dream.

This week's Leveson hearings, into the British leg of the News Corp phone hacking scandal, revealed CEO, Rupert Murdoch, has tried to control several prime ministers, for the benefit of his company. He has attempted to do the same in other nations, such as his native Australia and America, where he also holds citizenship, for the benefit of owning television stations, as required by U.S. law. 

Murdoch is an arrogant, greedy, repugnant man to think nations should be run for his benefit and that of his crooked company and not in the best interest of the populace of each respective country. He deserves to be imprisoned for theft, fraud, blackmail, extortion, accessing national secrets through deceitful means, wiretapping, hacking, stalking  and for being so eye-wateringly  unattractive (he wasn't hot when he was younger either). The man looks like Dr. Evil. Wouldn't it be funny if that's who the character in the movie was based on.

Our Mayor, Mike Bloomberg just never gives up on taking away Americans rights. His new proposed soda law, that that will limit what size drink you can buy in New York City, is just so Un-American. Not only does it infringe on our rights, it is just plains stupid.

Yes, New Yorkers are overweight. Yes there are health care costs and many problems with obesity. But to take away a Americans right to chose, to take away Americans given rights, is just going too far.

Alcohol creates deaths and a huge cost on society. You will never hear the Mayor talk about banning his favorite Scotch.

Mike Bloomberg's taxes on cigarettes are already taking it's toll on the poor. Every where you go, someone asks for a cigarette. Poor people addicted to this horrible product, are still spending what little money they have on this product. Even at rich society parties, I am always asked for a cigarette, because the rich do not want to pay these outrageous taxes. Bloomberg's recent try at taxing soda may have been a flop, but he will not stop till he controls our lives right down to when we sleep.

I understand that there are many things that are not good for us. But it is our right to decide what to smoke and what to eat. Not Mike Bloomberg's!

I have never been so ashamed to be a Republican in my life. Mitt Romney is a disgrace. He really is. He supports the rich and anyone that can not see this deserves to get what Romney has to offer. Our Republican controlled Congress could care less about the poor or the middle class. They all got money, health care and anything else they need. They will do anything to get richer, they are never happy with what they already got.

My rich friends and my good friends from Fox News will fight me to the death on re-electing President Obama. Every time I go out to dinner with some of them, I just can not believe that they support these Republicans and these crazy ideas. They act like I am so uninformed on whats happening in the world. I spent two hours on the phone the other night with one rich friend, and I told her to walk around Hells Kitchen or the Bowery in lower Manhattan to see real poverty. Raising money for these already rich charities does just about nothing. Spend Christmas at The Bowery Mission feeding the homeless who are starving. Send some money to The Bowery Mission where every dime counts. Stop spending money at five thousand dollar plate dinners where the charity spent a quarter million to entertain you. When I go to these events, I just feel sickened. I really do.

Barack Obama has the right ideas, but he can not get anything done because of this Republican controlled Congress. We need health care. We need alternative energy solutions so we are not controlled by these oil countries.

We also need laws and regulation, no matter what the Republicans say. What happened on Wall Street was a disgrace. We bailed out the rich. If we had let these banks fail, the rich would have lost their money, the average person who had below 100 thousand would have been insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Banks would have become smaller, and maybe for once, the average customer would have been important again. Maybe banks would have started to play fair again.

Banks are still breaking the laws that we already have in place. Bank Of America is one good example. They break the laws, make billions off doing it and they are only fined a few million. Shouldn't the fine match the ripoff? The banks know they are breaking the law, they just figure the fine will be so much less and it's a cost of doing business. And they are right. It is time to start sending these crooks to jail. If you run a company and you rip off billions, you need to go to jail and not pay a small fine, but do the time.

Barack Obama is for the middle class and the poor. He understands the suffering Americans are going through now. He understands that we need Social Security to keep people out of poverty. Millions of Americans have paid into the Social Security system to insure that they had money coming in as they age. They have a right to get what they paid for and for what was agreed upon when they paid into the system. The Republicans could care less. The Republicans only care about taking care of their interests.

Obama At Odds With The Church Over Mandatory Birth Control Political Policies

The fairly new healthcare plan of U.S. President Barack Obama has caused conflict and offense with the church. Some Christians do not believe in mandatory birth control, which is a dictate of President Obama's widely criticized healthcare plan. As I Christian, I think ethical birth control pills that prevent pregnancy, not abort the fruits thereof, are fine, as you are telling your body you do not wish to get pregnant at this time (though, I should note I have never used birth control). 

However, I respect and understand the decisions of Christians that do not use birth control, which is their right. Like the majority of Christians, I do not believe in abortion and do not support the idea of tax dollars being used for such purposes. The government should be respectful of people's religious and personal beliefs and not try to force decisions on the populace that offend their ethics. Christians will not be inclined to vote for someone that does so.

A new bombshell has surfaced regarding U.S. President Barack Obama and his country of origin. To be the President of the United States, the Constitution stipulates one must be born on U.S. soil. A newly unearthed 1991 literary agent's booklet by Acton & Dystel, promoting Obama, billed him as, "Born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii." If this document is authentic that means Obama was and is ineligible to be President of the United States. It would also mean Obama truly puts the African in African-American.

During a past interview, Obama's grandmother in Africa said he was born in Kenya and she was there for the birth. This prompted Obama's camp to attempt to spin her statements as the ramblings of an elderly woman, who was confused. In light of the latest revelations on the subject, it appears she was not.

The aforementioned literary agent story was released by the website of the late Drudge Report blogger Andrew Breitbart. As many of you know, 43-year-old Breitbart died recently from a mysterious heart attack. Hmm, it makes you wonder.

Obama's Track Record Is Giving Him Trouble

U.S. President, Barack Obama, has publicly slammed Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, on the subject of economics. Romney is a wealthy millionaire with ties to the financial sector. The president's claims are a tough sell, as the Obama Administration has struggled for 3 and 1/2 years with a deteriorated economy that has not rebounded, despite its best efforts. Economics is not his strong suit, as what he is doing has not been working. He needs to try something else.

Romney has spoken of successes he had as the former Governor of Massachusetts and the number of jobs created during his time in office. Either way, the real test will be if he is elected and turns the terribly ailing economy around, which has been struggling with massive unemployment, very slow job growth, sky high deficit and millions of foreclosures. As they say, "The proof is in the pudding." Time will tell.

If former Massachusetts Governor Romney did indeed ask Rubio and he accepted and it led to a win in the November 2012 presidential election, he would be the first Hispanic Vice President of the United States, which is long overdue. So is an Hispanic President.

He is using the bad economy as his platform to become the next President of the United States. The former Massachusetts Governor and wealthy businessman, said to be worth in excess of $250,000,000, has assailed Obama's inability to pull the U.S. economy out of the ongoing financial crisis, initiated by former president, George W. Bush.

You won’t hear that, since he gave that speech and became president, that there have been 50,000 more job losses here in North Carolina, more than twice as many as would fit in that stadium (Bank of America stadium)." President Obama has not yet responded to Romney's claims.

As most of you know, the U.S. Secret Service, charged with protecting Presidents of the United States, is mired in a prostitution scandal, stemming from their visit to Colombia for the Summit of the Americas, which Barack Obama attended. Secret Service agent David Chaney (wow, you sure it isn't Dick Cheney, LOL) has come under fire and from an unlikely source, former Republican nominee for Vice President of the United States, Sarah Palin.

Married agent Chaney was assigned to Palin in 2008 and posted a photo of her online on his Facebook page, stating he was checking her out, in a sexual manner (translation: staring at her butt). Married former Governor, Palin, was not amused by this revelation and slammed him on television.

Palin also warned the president that agents such as Chaney, may be checking out First Lady Michelle Obama in a sexual manner, instead of protecting her as they should, especially during times of family vacations away from Mr. Obama.

Undoubtedly, over time, there have been agents, who have fallen in love with First Ladies. However, President Obama is from Chicago and will likely shoot any agent that does this, then get Vice President Biden to issue him a pardon. Hey, I'm just saying the stuff people are thinking, but probably don't want to stay (I'm only joking).

As you can see, First Lady Michelle Obama is not in the picture. She is probably off searching for a frying pan in the White House kitchen. I'm joking. It's Monday and I'm trying to make you smile and laugh a little bit.

Bush did in office, which is still damaging people to this day. Mr. “Laissez Faire” really let things run amok, as his definition of a “free market” meant any financial crime goes and no theft and act of gouging is too great or impermissible.

Why would a nation need a president or prime minister if it needed no supervision, governance and guidance. Future presidents must learn from Bush's serious mistakes and not repeat them. America can't afford another round of financial damage of that caliber.

It is a shame that everyone is fighting about Health Care. No matter what anyone says, Americans need a good Health Care system that includes everyone. It may not be perfect, but Barack Obama has done the right thing and improvements will be made.

The Supreme Court I hope does the right thing. Everyone is fighting that it is not legal to make people buy insurance. Well no matter what anyone says, one fact that no media outlet has picked up on is we already have been required for many, many years to buy insurance.


It's called automobile insurance. Aren't we forced to buy this? If you are pulled over by a cop and you do not have, you will get a ticket and fined. Isn't this the same premise for this health care law? If you do not have, you will get fined. I see no difference here.

These Republicans are the worst I ever saw in my life, and I am a Republican my whole life. The past few years they have gotten so bad, the Democrats always get my vote. They are just sick, plain and simple. They are anti-gay, they fight for the rich and they are just plain dishonest. They really are. These guys lie and lie, depending on what state they are in. They have no shame. They really believe they have the answers. Look what George Bush did. September 11th happened on his watch. The wars were started on the George Bush watch. The crooks of Wall Street, with the help of the laws created by the Republican party destroyed our economy. On the Republicans watch, the housing market collapsed, the banks were allowed to steal and everyone got away with it. There are no jobs because of the George Bush Republicans. The rich got richer because of the Republicans and the middle class got destroyed. My rich friends have more than they ever did.

Now they have the balls to blame all this on Barack Obama and to go state to state slinging their bulls**t. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are sick. They are so out of touch with America. Newt Gingrich is right along with them, and I like Newt personally, I had drinks with him at Broadway Langans, next door to Fox News. But these Republicans think they have the right to judge us.

I also like Ron Paul personally. Many years ago, he was at my house in Glen Cove Long Island when he first started to run for President. He really is a nice guy, he is also very funny. Out of all the Republicans, he is the only one that makes some kind of sense on many issues. But the Republicans will never nominate him, so I hope he runs as a Independent to take away votes from the real Republican losers. These guys are smoking better marijuana than me, if they think they have any chance to win the Presidency.

Needless to say, I am waiting for the New York Primary, I will vote for Ron Paul and then I am switching my party affiliation to the Democrats. Barack Obama is a good President, if only these Republicans would let him do his job. I always have voted for the right person, it never mattered what party they were. Barack Obama wants to do the right thing, but the Republicans will risk destroying the country to win a election and to help their rich friends. They are really sick!




LAUGH OF THE WEEK FROM LANDLORDS OFFICE



I have to say, Seth Lamar from my landlords office called yesterday to discuss some problems in the building. I did not care for him when he was director of this building, but since they moved him to the main office, I get a kick out of him. I think we could have been friends in another life.

Today he told me I was their favorite tenant, they loved me. This really cracked me up, considering I am under the weather this week. I send endless e-mails on a regular basis to them telling them about problems here and the things that need to be dealt with. The other day, I was not a happy camper when I was once again woken up by this bathroom they built for employees over 4 years ago. Yes, I have been fighting over this for 4 years or more now. Anyway, when I was rudely woken up once again, I marched downstairs to yell at everyone in management. I noticed Seth was in the building and when he saw me, he made a dart to the front door.

I am not a pretty sight when I am woken up so early. My hair is up in the air, I always throw on something that makes me look like a hobo, and I look a mess. But this never stops me when I am so pissed off at being awakened from my beauty sleep. Not missing a beat, I made my way outside after Seth to yell about this bathroom. I followed him all the way down the block to the deli. I know I looked like a nut, but the aggravation caused by this employee bathroom is enough now. It's been over 4 years of hearing this bathroom door slamming. It's not fair. There are employee bathrooms all over this building and my life has been hell because of it. It has to go.

But at least I got a laugh this week, I am the favorite tenant here!



PUBLICISTS STEALING PHOTOS



It really amazes me how many e-mails I get from publicists, with photos enclosed. They are promoting their fashion clients, their Vodka or their car company account. Some of the photos have watermarks on them, showing the owner of the photo and I always e-mail these people back and ask them if they own rights to the photo. If I do not know the publicist, I double and triple check to see if they own rights. Most of the time I get a stupid e-mail back saying they don't and they tell me where I can purchase them.

Are they nuts? First of all, I am not going to buy a photo to promote their client. Second of all, I can imagine how many websites and media outlets assume they do own the rights and use them. These publicists are stealing and creating possible lawsuits to many media outlets.

If you want to promote your client, you need to buy the photo. You need to do your job right, and not steal from hard working photographers to save a buck.

Being a photographer myself, I know how hard it is to make a buck in this business these days. The days of the 50 thousand dollar photos are gone, your lucky if you can get a hundred bucks for a shot these days, and by these publicists stealing, photographers make even less.

I get very tired of bad shots too. I have so many publicists who have high paying clients and they send out the worst shots, because they do not want to spend the money on a good photographer. I can't tell you how many stories I refuse because of bad shots. It amazes me that these publicists and even their own clients would want some of these bad shots even seen. When I explain to them that a bad photo makes my site look bad and worse, it makes their paying client look bad, they still do not understand. They will argue with me, like their story is world breaking news and I need to publish it.

I really find myself getting nasty these days towards these people. It kills me even more, when the local PR people send me some famous photographers work and it is garbage. They yell at me telling me "do you know who took this photo?" Like I care. I have had every cover across the world and I have been on every TV show talking about the art of being a celebrity photographer, or commenting as a celebrity expert. I know great shots. It kills me even more, knowing they paid big bucks for this well known photographer and they could have hired me and gotten what they paid for. Even worse, I am expected to photoshop their high paid photographers work. The untalented photographer gets paid and they expect me to mop up the mess and get nothing.

I tell you, the photography business has just gotten worse and worse. Every moron with a digital camera, thinks hes a photographer. It's not just pushing a bottom and taking a picture. You have to control your subject so you get the shot you need. You tell them how great their outfit looks, how much you loved their last movie, or tell them a funny story on the last time you photographed them. This will make the celebrity stand there and talk to you while you are snapping shot after shot and almost always you will end up with that one great photo to use worldwide. This is a talent very few of the new breed of photographers have. Great photography takes more than pushing a camera button!

Family Slams President Obama Over Ignoring Three Letters Regarding Their Murdered Loved Ones

Family and friends of Britons, James Kouzaris, 24 and James Cooper, 25, have slammed U.S. President Barack Obama, for not responding to their three letters demanding justice for their slain loved ones. The two friends were on vacation in Florida, when they were murdered by 17-year-old Shawn Tyson.

Many people have complained of Obama ignoring serious correspondences, which is a dereliction of duty as President of the United States ( I know that has been my experience). Other presidents have responded to the public's correspondences. Why Obama is so woefully negligent in this regard is a mystery, as it is apart of his job and he does have a sizable staff to assist him in these matters. It's not a good look and will cost you votes.

As the Judiciary Report has maintained, Obama is aloof and out of touch with reality and the people. The only way to get action out of Obama on justice matters or hardship issues is stuffing a massive campaign donation check in the envelope. For the serious and terrible matters he has ignored, he richly deserves that comment.
