Owners Ian Duke and David Hilty, have transformed the Hamptons favorite Madame Tong's Redeux for the 2011 Summer season, bringing you Southampton Social Club—a luxury prohibition speakeasy with a twist of Hamptons style! Opening Memorial Day Weekend, the eatery and nightlife venue will provide Southampton foodies and nightlife lovers an innovative American menu that offers a refreshing take on classic favorites, crafted by modern techniques with the season’s freshest ingredients. The menu is designed for sharing, so everyone can enjoy the many diverse flavors throughout their dining experience, as the all-new Southampton Social Club supports local purveyors, ensuring its diners that every dish is made in-house and prepared daily (including homemade pasta and desserts).
Bringing a taste of 1920s flair with a twist of polo chic, the sure-to-be hotspot’s chic outdoor lawns will be the go to place to be seen! Inside, the restaurant features a regal mahogany bar, plush banquettes, indoor and outdoor dining space, two fireplaces and a library lounge. In addition to a roster of the music industry’s hottest DJs, Southampton Social Club is set to bring live music to the Hamptons nightlife scene with local and renowned performers.
Executive Chef Matt Creason (formerly of York Grill in New York City’s Upper East Side) is set to crafted sure to be signature-favorites dishes exclusively to the eatery, such as Fresh Chilled Seafood Tower, lobster claws, jumbo shrimp, little neck clams, Jeseps neck oysters and Jonah crab claws; Slow Cooked Pacific Halibut over market vegetables and fingerling potatoes, finished with a verjus beurre blanc.
