Nello

With a new look and feel, Nello Summertimes Restaurant and Lounge has redefined its image as simply a nightlife haunt, transforming into a casual yet sophisticated summertime lounge! The Hamptons favorite takes guests a step back in time, to the era reminiscent of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and Michael Curtiz’s Casablanca! Built in 1675, this historic building is also a twelve-suite hotel run by owner Nello Balan, where America’s Founding Father George Washington once stayed.

Attracting the Hamptons finest—and making people watching a sport—the restaurant is a virtual who’s who of New York and Hamptons’ life, while also encouraging family outings! On any given night, the eatery is filled with socialites, CEO’s, top fashion designers and the next ”it girl” sipping on Nello’s signature Bellinis. Since opening in May 2006, the restaurant has attracted the crème de la crème of Hamptons society, dining on northern Italian fare with Sardinia and Capri influences by Executive Chef Lugi Casanova—such as Carpaccio con Palmito (Filet Mignon served with avocado, hearts of palm, lemon and white truffle oil) and Cotoletta alla Milanese (breaded Veal Chop served with chopped tomatoes and arugula)—and sipping on some of the world’s finest Bordeaux and Tuscan Wines.

Fans of the nightlife scene need not worry! On weekends, Nello Summertimes goes from restaurant to lounge, featuring surprise celebrity DJs all summer long! The atmosphere will be filled with warm aromas, the hottest lounge tracks and the refreshing Hamptons summer breeze. A true gem for locals and visitors alike, Nello Summertimes will always be a Hampton summer classic, no matter which direction the venue chooses to go! Balan is all smiles when asked about the restaurants new twist is style. “This 2011 Hamptons summer season is about attitude. I invite everyone to chill-out this summer, Hamptons’ style at Nello’s!”
