"Let them eat cake" will be the motto at Tropicana Casino & Resort on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Tropicana is celebrating 30 thrilling years in Atlantic City with a sweet celebration and everyone is invited.

This delicious day of festivities includes a special appearance by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro in the Tropicana Showroom, a public cake, and a cake bakeoff competition featuring students from the Atlantic Cape Community College's Academy of Culinary Arts, a program which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary.

"On November 26, we will celebrate Tropicana's 30-year evolution into a signature gaming destination with a first-rate hotel, world-class dining, thrilling games and entertainment experiences that are completely unique in tourism. We hope to see many of Tropicana’s longtime friends come out and join us for this day of celebration," said Tony Rodio, president and chief executive officer of Tropicana.

Join the party and enjoy a delicious slice of cake, along with ‘cake flavored’ specialty drinks. The "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro and Tony Rodio, president and CEO of Tropicana will be on hand to officiate the ceremony.

Make way for more sweet stuff. The Tropicana will also host a cake bakeoff with twelve students from Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts.
