Why Is Mental Illness Encouraged In Hollywood
Monday, June 18, 2012
The Dangers Of Hollywood Cults
When you have a madwoman like Gaga wearing a dress made of meat to an awards show, appearing on stage covered in blood for attention and in a separate incident going on the balcony of her hotel and opening up her legs so photographers downstairs can snap photos of her menstruating, Hollywood has lost its mind and is a very sick place. As the phrase goes, the inmates are running the asylum.
Fellow Scientologist Will Smith, a closeted homosexual, has raised his two kids in the cult and people constantly call them strange. His daughter Willow Smith, looks like she is in the middle of a mental breakdown. She shaved her head and began posting strange ramblings on Twitter that were a cry for help.
It is very clear the devil is running loose in Hollywood and it is his official headquarters on earth, because the evil that comes out of there is astonishing. The programming has become very violent and mentally ill, disturbing many audiences.

Whitney Houston's Mother Cissy Houston Talks About Rumors Surrounding Her Death
Yesterday, Gospel singer, Cissy Houston, 78, gave her first interview since the death of her award winning daughter, pop star, Whitney Houston. The 48-year-old singer died on February 11, 2012 of a cardiac episode, brought on by a cocaine overdose.
Cissy Houston slammed rumors her daughter died broke. She labeled such talk rubbish, "Whitney did not die broke ... she’s not broke. None of that crap.” Houston further stated she is "very proud" of her daughter, who "accomplished a whole lot in the short time that she had here" and "was a very wonderful person."
Cissy Houston and Whitney Houston
Whitney's mother blasted the media for their treatment of the late singer, "The media is awful…they think they know everything…these people don’t know anything about her…the media doesn’t know what they are talking about. They really chopped on her.”
Cissy also stated she does not blame herself in Whitney's death, "I know I did the best I could. I don’t blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything.” She is right. She can't be blamed for Houston's addiction. Cissy Houston did make efforts to force her daughter into rehab, even going to court to obtain a judicial order, which she executed in the company of sheriffs, believing the pop singer's husband, Bobby Brown, would try to impede her entering rehab and recovering.
Whitney Houston and Cissy Houston
Sadly, Houston's sobriety did not last long and she returned to her vice shared with Brown, of rolling marijuana joints laced with strong crack cocaine and smoking it. This drug use ultimately killed her, deteriorating her organs.
Whitney got involved with the wrong people in the entertainment industry, full of criminals, thieves and liars, which led to an early death for her. She's not the first and won't be the last, because Hollywood refuses to heed the warnings that something very bad is upon them over their lifestyle.
Cissy Houston
To those that think drug use is harmless and nothing bad will come of it, remember individuals like Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. The two entertainers, among others, have been considered some of the most special people on earth. But no one is too special for death via a drug overdose, as that is the reality behind substance abuse.
To entertainers like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, who have openly promoted drug use in interviews, songs and on social networking sites, I hope you're proud of yourselves in setting such a terrible example (sarcasm). Drugs damage real people and real families.

ELTON JOHN RUMORED TO JOIN LADY GAGA
THE WEB GOSSIP
****
AMAs – I watched last weekend’s AMAs and rather enjoyed it; fortunately this time around I knew most of the acts performing and presenting. Maroon 5 (currently riding the tops of the charts with their “Moves Like Jagger”) were just terrific. Since this band first hit big in 2005, they've been delivering some simply delicious music; sort of a pastiche of pure pop music and Stevie Wonder; and, Adam Levine has a voice that was made for TV and radio. When I first heard “Jagger” I knew it'd quickly become a massive hit. Sure enough, guest-vocalist Christina Aguilera showed up; looking a bit of a mess, if I can say. Amid all the rumors of tensions between her and Levine (they're both judges on NBC’s The Voice and have clashed repeatedly on the show!), when they finished the song, she stormed off … not even acknowledging Levine. Staged? Hard to tell, but it was noticed by almost every critic and certainly didn't do anything to change her somewhat-declining public image. Something is definitely not right in her camp; and, it’s a shame because her voice is really that good. Also, Jennifer Lopez was just sensational; performing two numbers (and, wearing some pretty fantastic Versace), including her scintillating “On The Floor.” The song is currently featured in her commercial for Fiat … and, don't you know … the car was featured in the stage presentation. To tell you the truth, I don’t ever remember a car being a part of a stage performance; but, these are indeed strange times. When she won, she thanked her manager Benny Medina … nice touch! And, she looked rather fab overall … terrific for a 43-year old. Taylor Swift won several awards, including Artist of the Year (besting Katy Perry, Adele and Lady Gaga), and though she’s great, her over-enthusiastic mode is running a bit dry for my taste. Nicki Minaj (who I haven't yet gotten!), Justin Bieber, The Band Perry and Kelly Clarkson all appeared as well. It certainly wasn't vintage-AMA (although AMA-stalwart Lionel Richie was sitting front-and-center) ... I fear those days are long gone … but, it was a fun show. Katy Perry did receive an achievement award for getting five No. 1 singles from her album Teenage Dream. She's the first female artist to reach that milestone from a single album. Pretty amazing … and, I think the current single, “The one That Got Away” is her strongest yet. Congrats Katy!****

RAPPER SHANNON -- When I heard WPLJ’s Scott “Super” Shannon rap the intro to the legendary song “Rapper’s Delight” the other morning … I just had to smile. That’s why he’s still #1 … we love him!
****
JOHN JOINS GAGA -- Elton John will reportedly join up with Lady Gaga for her next album. Gaga , who performed a duet with him on the soundtrack album to the animated opus Gnomeo and Juliet , said she is eager for another pass with the legendary piano man, "My next duet, I believe, will be with Elton. I'm already working on my next album, and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it." The pair performed at last year's Grammy Awards to much acclaim and she is the godmother to John and David Furnish’s son Zachary. The singer said last year that he no longer wanted to compete with new pop stars, claiming he was no longer able to pen pop songs himself: "I'm at that stage where I don't think I can write pop music anymore. I can't sit down and do a proper rock song. I like to do my little side-projects like Scissor Sisters and have fun, but I don't think Elton John will be putting any pop singles out!" ****
DOUGLAS & DOUGLAS -- We had the pleasure of attending Monday’s night Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl event at Chelsea Piers, where they were honoring 95-year old screen legend Kirk Douglas. Add to that, the fact that it was going to be presented by his son, Michael Douglas. After a thoroughly engaging introduction (and, film clips), Kirk walked on to be embraced by his son. Moving … to say the least! And, both of them looked great; it was a treasured moment. Honored as well, was actress Elle Fanning (almost 14!), who gave a warmly, passionate speech. We've been entranced by the actress ever since we caught her in the film by Sofia Coppola, Somewhere … and, her recent role in Super 8. She is tremendous and reported to be fantastic in the forthcoming We Bought A Zoo, with Matt Damon. Also seen at the stellar event, were: actor Jon Voight; Rita Cosby and Tomazcek Bednarek; PR-maven David Salidor; Leah Adler (Steven Spielberg's mother); and, of course, Catherine Zeta-Jones.Photos By: James Edstrom/RD/GDP Photos/Orchon/Sara De Boer/Retna

PERFECT PERFECTION FOR PETER GABRIEL
PETER GABRIEL --- I first became of U. K.-wunderkind Peter Gabriel when he fronted the Brit-group Genesis in the 70's. The group's signature song at the time, “Watcher Of The Skies” was a progressive-radio staple back then, along with their songs “I Know What I Like” and “The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.” The group, featuring Mike Rutherford, Steve Hackett, Tony Banks, and, a bearded, younger-than-ever Phil Collins, were a truly visionary group and they received a lion's welcome when they headed Stateside. In viewing some of their works via You Tube, I marveled yet again at how Gabriel would often dress up as the characters depicted in the songs and really put together quite the visual show. In fact, I am quite sure Lady Gaga was also a fan as some of her recent stage persona's are I believe directly linked to Gabriel. Genesis eventually split with Gabriel; Collins replaced him on vocals and the group received even more kudos and worldwide attention. Truth to be, Collins not only sounded like Gabriel, but was quite the character himself and succeeded in bringing even more fame and attention to the band. Some of their Collins-sung-songs, like “Home By The Sea,” “Land of Confusion” and, “Turn It On Again” were huge-radio hits in the 80's. Genesis was one of the huge bands of that era too … no question. Gabriel recorded a series of terrific solo albums; his first four were all named Peter Gabriel, which proved somewhat daunting for the retailers, but nonetheless began building even more a mystique about the artist. “Sledgehammer” was massive radio hit for him, along with a truly inspired video, and he was suddenly a pop-radio-idol. Subsequent hits like “Digging In The Dirt” and “Steam” followed. He toured extensively throughout the 80's and 90's; started his own record label, Real World Records, and, began an organization known as WOMAD in 1980. World of Music and Dance grew out of the artist's fascination with the burgeoning sound of world music. His later albums thoroughly explored the very best sound and vision aspects of music. He's recorded with a top-flight array of artists and writers; including Kate Bush; Daniel Lanois; the Blind Boys of Alabama; Trent Renzor; Paula Cole; John Giblin; Stewart Copeland, Phil Collins Natalie Merchant; Robbie Robertson; Ane Brun; Manu Katche; Jim Kerr; and Tom Robinson, among others. His stage shows became legend; one tour in particular had him diving into the crowd, back first, and each and every time he was caught by his frenzied fans. He continued to toy with theatrical aspects of his shows with stellar results. I mention all this, because I recently re-visited his DVD-set of his Growing Up Live tour from 2003 and was just struck by how original and innovative this artist has always been … and, still is. With a crackerjack band (Tony Levin; David Rhoades; Richard Evans), and, featuring his daughter Melanie on backup vocals, each and every song had essentially a whole show built around it. On his song “Downside Up,” he and Melanie perform the song …while singing upside down! And, though you might scoff at the mere notion of that, he pulls it off brilliantly. Each of the 17-tracks on the set are simply outstanding. His songs “In Your Eyes,” “Red Rain,” “Mercy Street,” "Sky Blue” and “Here Comes The Flood” are all text-book examples of perfection. Full disclosure: I actually met Gabriel years ago at one of the first-ever Prince's Trust concerts and founds his totally captivating. One of those fellows who is so far ahead … it bordered on being tad scary. Peter Gabriel = perfection.****
GLAM IT, DAMMIT --- In the golden olden days, writers like myself were often presented a new recording from hopefully, soon-to-be major new artists. JG Edwards' PR-man just provided us a full CD of his new, debut album called Glam. One listening immediately convinced us that this young man could be one of the most significant artists of the year with the right direction and push. The album is a successful pastiche of pop music from the 80's and 90's. We immediately referenced back to a record from a young man by the name of Emitt Rhodes who released his own solo album back in the early 70's, and was dubbed as the one man Beatles. His record, on Dunhill/ABC Records (remember them?) was nothing short of extraordinary. Edwards' disc immediately reminded us of the best of pop-wizard Todd Rundgren and, interestingly enough, The Monkees. Certainly not bad influences for anyone. These days, with most of the popular artists not writing their own material, there's a dearth of artists looking for viable, pop product. Also, witness the recent release from Owl City featuring “Fireflies.” Owl City is essentially writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Andrew Young. Look no further, as Edwards material is spot-on superb. Of the ten tracks, we loved “Stephanie, Baby” and “She's Better Than Video.” According to his PR-man, “JG is looking for either the right publishing situation or record deal. he can definitely nail it” The music is just sensationally approachable and delightful. When this hits … check it out.
****
BLUNT FORCE --- After the worldwide staggering success of his “You're Beautiful,” many wondered how James Blunt would ever follow up that degree of success. Actually, he followed that with another beautiful album called All the Lost Souls, which to me was a rather candid look at the success that came to him so quickly and how he handled it. Its sales were not as stellar as his debut, but in many ways, it was a logical and rather stellar follow up. I remember first seeing him at one of the WPLJ Up Close and Personal Shows and found him to be an utter delight. Quite funny, candid and what a show! His new album Some Kind of Trouble came out last month (he was at NYC's Beacon last night) and after several times listening, I am tremendously hooked. Let's face it; the man's got a wonderful voice; interesting, lyrical, and his lyrics and music are great … and, he lives in Ibiza to boot. “I've been on a bit of a roller coaster,” says Blunt. Two albums, two world tours, and 18 million records later … I'll say he certainly was. The first single off the album “Stay The Night” is great and we also loved “I'll Be Your Man” and especially the track “Heart Of Gold” which reminded us of Elton. His last album was rather chilling in certain segments; very, well totally blunt and candid. The second album for any relevant artist is always a tricky proposition; you got to prove the first one wasn't a fluke, while coming up with something new. That's why they call it the sophomore jinx! Also a favorite off the new release is “Best Laid Plans” which should please all the “Beautiful” fans. Don't count him out; Blunt is beautiful!****
****
BACHMAN BACK --- Anyone out there remember the group Bachman Turner Overdrive Bachman from the 70's? Well, the driving force behind that aggregation,Randy Bachman, has a new album out called B&T. He was also in the terrific band The Guess Who, who hit with songs like "These Eyes" and"American Woman" (with the luscious vocals of Burton Cummings!). We're going to try to unearth a copy of the new release (you know how record companies and many-PR people are these days) and let you know. Rock on!
