Are The Kardashians Really Worth A $40,000,000 TV Deal With E!

The media hungry Kardashian family have signed a $40,000,000 deal with the E! network to continue their staged reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Rapper Kanye West, who is inappropriately dating Kim Kardashian, though she is still married, will reportedly join the show.

E! must be confident regarding advertising and DVD sales, to shell out that much money on a family that is so overexposed, their sales have been declining in other areas of trade. However, with a limited number of shows on their network pulling decent ratings, they are standing behind the Kardashians for another three seasons.

It's not surprising that Forbes magazine has ranked reality TV star Kim Kardashian the most overrated celebrity. It's a title she richly earned via publicity stunts and a phony marriage that destroyed her career. She was all over the press and blogosphere and people grew tired of it. This is compounded by the fact Kardashian has no discernible talent where the entertainment industry is concerned. People don't respect that.

Tellingly, her two sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian also made the top ten of the most overrated celebrity list, at #8 and #9 respectively. The entire Kardashian family is overexposed, but they do not seem to grasp this fact.

Kourtney's fashionable look caught the attention with her chic blouse, which is her own design from K-Dash at QVC.com, over the knee boots paired with a snake skin clutch accented by aviators sunglasses and matching blue nails.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN HOSTS BIRTHDAY BASH

Friday night Kourtney Kardashian hosted a bachelorette party for her girlfriend from college, Alison Shulman. The night started at LAVO as the large group of women, who went to school together at the University of Arizona, took over a table in the center of the dining room, feasting on favorites including Chicken Marsala and Penne ala Vodka. At dinner the bride-to-be proclaimed she would never wear a bachelorette sash or boa, but by the time a celebration dessert was delivered to the table Kourtney had placed one on the guest of honor. After dinner they headed to a dance floor table at TAO. DJ Reach gave them a shout out and fans of the reality star clamored to get photos. The ladies sipped Champagne and recalled stories from college, standing up to dance as Reach played sister Kim’s new song “Jam”. The night finished with the bachelorette dancing on TAO’s famed catwalk as her girlfriends cheered.


Adrian Grenier was also spotted at TAO. The Entourage star and friends attracted a number of beautiful girls at their VIP table, all vying to dance with the actor.
