Steve Forbes With Ric EdelmanDuring a recent taping of the public television series, "The Truth About Money with Ric Edelman," when Edelman asked wealthy publisher and businessman Steve Forbes how his company's partnership with the Irish superstar is going, Forbes became animated as he described his agreement with Bono's company, Elevation Partners, and what it was like for him the first time he met Bono.
"Fortunately (Bono's company) like media among other things, and they did not demand a controlling interest which we liked. And so we did get to see Bono, I got to touch him several times, and talk to him and get his autograph."
And then Forbes went on to confide that getting Bono's autograph "is better than my stocks have done."
