"Dancing with the Stars" champion Karina Smirnoff celebrated the holidays and her mirror ball trophy win earlier today at the first-ever Winter in Venice celebration at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas.
Fans and onlookers flooded to the resort to catch a glimpse of their favorite dancing star as they enjoyed strolling holiday carolers and festive eggnog cupcakes and warm apple cider. Smirnoff graciously stopped and posed for photos with fans while enjoying the Winter in Venice festivities including the 65-foot tree raving, "Come see the tree lighting, you won't be disappointed!"
The dancing starlet, who arrived in a Santa hat, looked stunning in Versace shoes and a Dennis Bassco for QVC white faux fur jacket as she sipped on hot chocolate and danced with candy cane stilt walkers and toy soldiers.
After stopping to roast chestnuts with The Palazzo's chef "Sammy D" of FIRST Food & Bar, Smirnoff checked out the Strip's only ice skating rink situated atop The Venetian's outdoor canals. She gazed at the disco ball above and raved, "You can even go skating under your very own mirror ball trophy!"
When asked about her holiday health tips on keeping her amazing figure, Karina said, "Eat everything in moderation and walk while you shop for gifts!" She later joked," We're staying on the 28th floor at The Venetian and we took the stairs!"
