And like mushrooms after a rain there are dozens of new clubs and restaurant popping up on the Hamptons nightscape. In some case, it’s likw musical chairs.
In the tiny, tony village of Southampton there are a host of new dining choices ranging from down home classic to elegant Italian & Mediterranean. Donna Karan’s baby girl Gaby Karan de Felice and partner Maurizio Marfoglia are opening a branch of their wildly popular Sag Harbor Italian waterside eatery Tutto Il Giorno on Nugent Street. Up the North Sea road the former Regulars is now OutEast Café serving up breakfast day (great for the night crawlers).
Red Bar – one of our top dining choices all year has spawned a sibling Little Red. Owners David Lowenberg and Kirk Basnight, two of the best hosts on the East End are modeling it after the great European cafes and will serve New American fare & a great wine list to boot. Word is that Nobu at the Beach helmed by the famed chef Nobu Matsuhisa will slide into the Pink Elephant berth at the Capri Hotel on County Road 39
Over in Bridgehampton, One Ocean Road is now home to Eric Lemonides and Jason Weiner’s French Bistro Almond in the heart of the village. Their old Montauk Highway location is now Agave Bar & Mexican Grill this is said to be the place to eat & drink affordability while catching your favorite game
In Sag Harbor, Blue Skys has given way to Page at 63 Main, a new restaurant by Jerry Wawryk offering an eclectic Mediterranean menu with an emphasis on natural, local and organic dishes. Down the street, Queens comes to Sag! Pomme Café, Astoria’s well known – and loved – French bistro takes over the former Maison.

Tim Burkes 230 Elm StyleWhile Montauk has been drawing the club kids and surfing set for the last two seasons, expect Southampton to give the fishing village a run for its money this year. Meat Packing District vets are moving in. Mark Baker will head up Elm, at the site of Tim Burke’s popular 230 Elm and will be going after the older more sophisticated crowd.

This year it’s South Pointe – notice the French spelling – it will have a French Riviera theme and revelers can make like they are in Cap d’Antibes or Cannes.
Yet one quintessentially Hamptons place has been pulling n the crowds as much for its awesome sunsets as ite reasonably priced seafood, ample cocktails and live music is Docker’s on Dune Road in East Quogue. Tonight and every Friday is $5 Friday Happy Hour featuring any and all drinks for just $5 and $5 appetizers! Both the Dock and garden lounges are open and starting next Friday, we will have a DJ playing during Happy Hour too! Friday live music starts on June 17th with Steve Strecker and Mean Machine - A great band - Fridays are always a great time. On Sunday, Live Music starts at 7:30pm on the deck with Steve Strecker and Mean Machine. But the best comes on Monday with Paul Mahos and New Life Crisis is a tradition on Memorial Day Weekend! Paul starts at 6:30pm!

Andy CohenYou’ve seen him dishing with the Real Housewives and stirring up trouble on "Watch What Happens Live" on the Bravo network, now get up close and personal with host Andy Cohen who will be the special guest at the Beach Party Heat Wave to benefit Planned Parenthood (which given the recent spate of government cuts needs all the help you can offer). Deborah CoxAlso this weekend is the Miracle House 21st Annual Gala at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. Miracle House is a New York City charity, which provides provisional housing, meals and advocacy to caregivers and patients coming to the city for critical medical treatment. Hosted by Jim and Amy Chanos, the Miracle House fete will honor Robby Browne and Rob Coburn, two longtime supporters. Lance Bass, boy-bander of N-sync, will host the Gala and singer Deborah Cox, of Broadway and recording star will dazzle the crowd. Southampton HospitalThen we will head West for The Southampton Hospital Foundation Annual Memorial Day Weekend Party. "Party in the Pink" will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Westhampton Country Club on Potunk Lane in Westhampton Beach. The evening will benefit the Hospital's Westhampton Primary Care Center, Cynthia Rutherford Patry, Tara Liddle, and Pat Tolan will chair the event. There will be cocktails, dinner and dancing until midnight. There will also be a silent auction, all donated in support of the hospital. Tickets for the event are $250 per person. Afterward, there will be an "after hours" for those who would like to come for dancing, drinks and desert from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
