A Hamptons staple and celebrity hotspot has returned with a twist – Madame Tong’s REDEUX opened its doors July Fourth weekend as a new experience and has shaken up the Southampton scene. REDEUX means remix, and the restaurant has done just that. With a new owner, new menu, new chef and a sultry new décor, Madame Tong’s REDEUX is a whole new experience. Ian Duke of Prohibition fame (Upper West Side, NYC), has teamed up with partner David Hilty to indulge guests with an exclusive new nighttime haunt on the East end, serving up innovative Asian fusion fare. As diners step inside, they are instantly attracted to the dark setting lit by Chinese lanterns, dark mahogany floors and cozy banquettes highlighted by orange walls and gold mirrors creating a sultry environment perfect for a date night or dinner with friends.
The new menu expertly crafted by new chef Frank Coe, boasts delectable modern dishes like the Tamarind Glazed Spare Ribs and Crispy Long Island Duck Breast (passion-plum pomegranate sauce with mixed vegetable stir-fry and sweet potato puree) as well as exotic cocktails which are infused with fresh fruits like the Watermelon Martini (Ketel One citron vodka, fresh watermelon puree, sugar and fresh lime juice) and the Passion Fruit Mojito (passion fruit infused rum, fresh lime, mint, sugar, soda, rocks).
The new nighttime jaunt has become a popular spot amongst Hamptonites and serves as the quintessential venue with roaring fire pits and lush surroundings. Night owls can relax and unwind while sipping on exclusive cocktails and listening to the industry’s hottest DJs. For more information, visit www.mtredeux.com.
