Friday night a crew from Dancing With the Stars gathered at LAVO to celebrate the birthdays of the show's competitors Maria Menounos, who turned 34 earlier this month and Katherine Jenkins who celebrated her 32nd last night. The ladies were joined by the show's professionals including Derek Hough, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, and Peta Murgatroyd, along with a group of friends for dinner at the Italian eatery. They feasted on favorites from the kitchen, including the Kobe Meatball and ended dinner with a toast and sweets for the birthday girls. ****

Carrie Ann Inaba

Dancing with the Stars judge and longtime animal activist Carrie Ann Inaba’s first-ever web series, Crib Cat, will premieres tonight on the YouTube channel, Petsami, a new digital entertainment network that advocates embracing your inner animal instincts with daily fun and funny pet shows and videos. Crib Cat is hosted by Inaba’s longtime friend Kit, a cat who happens to be a matchmaker and receives submissions from cats all over looking for the perfect “crib” – aka “forever home.” The series is written by Inaba, who also provides the voice of Kit.

Executive produced by Inaba and FishBowl Worldwide Media, Crib Cat will feature 12 episodes with each one introducing a cat from a no-kill shelter ready for adoption and their own forever home. The series will further expand to include both cats and dogs available for adoption. Whether it’s choosing a human who has the right temperament or setting up the perfect scratching post, the show’s mission is to help pair every cat and dog in America with their perfect Crib.

Crib Cat joins a larger slate of Petsami programming featuring a variety of eccentric pet personalities as they host shows that offer insight into the secret lives of their four-footed best friends. Additional pet programming on the channel includes deep thoughts by meerkats and curated cat videos provided by an internet junkie curating cat! Other Petsami shows include CuteWinTail, One Minute Meerkat and KlipKat.

Petsami also provides a platform for viewers to have an engaging entertainment experience by allowing them to upload their own videos to the channel, create captions for different videos and even vote on whether cats or dogs are cuter.

Now anyone can embrace their inner animal instincts with this unique and fun digital network. Car Chase? Go for it. Couch to claw? Be Petsami’s guest. #StayWild with Petsami and visit http://www.petsami.com.

BROOKE BURKE TALKS ABOUT DANCING STARS

****
Brooke Burke did a interview with Prevention.com on the upcoming season of

DANCING WITH THE STARS

Premiering TONIGHT On ABC!

****

Brooke Burke

There are so many great women on Dancing with the Stars this season, including Gladys Knight, Sherri Shepherd, Melissa Gilbert, and Martina Navratilova. And they’re in their 40s and older. Do you think they have an advantage because of their age?

In general, I think women are more comfortable in their skin as they get to know themselves better and become more confident. They have more life experience, which certainly comes into play in this competition.

But will it help them win?

I actually think the male celebrities have an advantage because the female pros are so beautiful and talented that they make up for what the men do and don’t do, to be perfectly honest.

What other qualities matter?

Relatability. Likeability. Dealing with the pressure. The attitude. The way you address the audience. The way you treat your partner. A lot of things that go far beyond talent.

What do you love most about Dancing With the Stars?

I love seeing the underdog learn how to dance. I love watching people go from scoring 7s to pulling their first 10s. It’s an amazing experience when you’ve underestimated yourself but you feel free enough to give yourself a chance to learn something new and conquer it. It’s really rewarding. I went through that experience myself.

In addition to her daytime television success, she hosts GSN’s original series, “Love Triangle,” which premiered in April 2011.

KENDRA WILKINSON – Television personality and glamour girl Kendra Wilkinson is best known from her self-titled E! hit reality series, “Kendra.” The show follows Kendra, NFL player husband Hank and son Hank IV through their crazy lives. She got her start on one of E! CHRIS JERICHO -- A six-time WWE world champion, two-time New York Times best-selling author, lead singer of the rock band Fozzy and host of the ABC game show “Downfall,” Chris Jericho began wrestling at age 19 and is one of the most popular performers in wrestling history. In 2001 Chris was the first ever Undisputed Champion of the WWE, and he is the only performer to have held six different titles in the 44-year history of World Wrestling Entertainment.

SUGAR RAY LEONARD – Sugar Ray Leonard is one of the legendary sports icons of the 20th century whose very name epitomizes boxing and conjures the image of a champion.
