OCCUPY WALL STREET MUST PICK A TARGET

If Occupy Wall Street is to stay alive, it must pick a target now. The movement seems to be all over the place and not centered on any one thing. Even with the planned protest of the Stock Exchange on Thursday, this is not a centered attack. Thousands of companies belong to the Stock Exchange and a protest against thousands of companies does not send a powerful message to any of them. It will get media attention, but it will not get any of these companies to change their policies on anything. It will not teach any of them a lesson and it will not make them listen to the American Public. This is why a target must be picked and this will show the power of the people.

After careful thought, and after being cheated so many times by Bank Of America, I think this should be the target of Occupy Wall Street. Not because I was the only one ripped off, but Bank Of America has cheated millions of people, they are one of the huge reasons we had the mortgage meltdown and they took our tax dollars to save their rich shareholders, and did nothing to help us. They continue to get caught cheating customers, and pay fines way below what they stole. No one at Bank Of America is ever held accountable. They pay the small fine, they never admit any wrongdoing and go on to find other ways to rake the customers over the coals. They keep playing like they care for their customers, but the reality is they only care for their huge bonuses and their shareholders. They proved this when they took our tax dollars and saved their rich shareholders and their huge bonuses and told everyone who had a mortgage with them to F**K OFF!

Bank Of America learned a very small lesson recently, when they tried to raise fees on their accounts. Their customers closed their accounts and fled to other banks. They them backed off the new fees, but this shows the power of the people and this is how we must show big business that Occupy Wall Street means business. Recently I closed accounts with Bank Of America and I went to another bank, a smaller bank that is fair and not trying to rip you off at every turn. My new bank is now TD Bank, and they appreciate my business. I don't have to worry about new and crazy fees showing up on my account every month like you do with Bank Of America. But there are many smaller banks just as good as TD Bank. We don't need these big companies anymore. The secret is small business now. A small bank wants your business and will go the extra mile to keep you happy. Bank Of America only wants to keep their big bonus checks coming in and huge dividends for their shareholders.

It is time for the politicians to stop telling us we need companies like Bank Of America, we do not. Let Bank Of America go out of business. We do this by pulling our business. Other banks will pick up the slack and new smaller banks would appear. The whole banking industry would change and the big banks that remain will know the power of the people.

It's time we all show the power of Occupy Wall Street by picking a target. That target should be Bank Of America. We need to call for the supporters of Occupy Wall Street to close their Bank Of America accounts. We need to send a hard message to these corporations that if they continue business as usual, we will put them out of business!
